The 2002 AEJP conference at the University of San Francisco brought together almost 40 people from Jesuit publications across the United States.
San Francisco Chronicle columnist Ken Garcia talked about the importance of a good lead; a graphics session by USF's Dale Johnston focused on the fundamentals of good design. Conference participants led a panel discussion on the struggles that can occur between the editorial and development offices. Check out the full schedule to see the whole range of sessions that were offered. The conference also included time for participants to see the city. Dinner outings, an excursion to Fort Point, and a Giants baseball game provided a great atmosphere for attendees to get to know one another as well as experience San Francisco. Next year's conference will be held at Saint Peter's College in Jersey City. We hope to see you all there! |
